Why is my Stix vape pen not working? ›

Cartridge Issues: A clogged or faulty cartridge can also cause a vape pen to stop working. If the airflow is blocked or the heating element inside the cartridge is damaged, the vape pen won't function correctly. Replacing the cartridge with a new one can often resolve this problem.

The colors on the Yocan Stix are indicators of the different temperature settings. Red is low, green is medium, and blue is high.

Why is my Stix battery blinking red? ›

The most common ones being: Dying battery: Most often, the vape pen will blink ten times when the battery is too low for proper vaping. To fix the issue, recharge the battery. Low voltage: If the battery is charged but the pen is still blinking, it could be due to a low voltage.

If your vape pen keeps blinking even after it's fully charged, it could be a sign of a more serious issue, such as a short circuit, connection problem, or an internal fault.

However, a blue blinking light can often be a broad indicator that there's an issue with your battery's power. It could be that the blinking will stop and become a different colour, indicating the battery's status. However, it could warn you that your battery is about to die and you must charge it.

Your Device May Be Clogged

Air bubbles can get trapped in that space, and the bubbles can prevent the e-liquid from flowing through to the coil. Try tapping the device against your hand a few times to break the bubbles. Wait a few minutes for the e-liquid to absorb into your device's wick and try vaping again.

If the device is clogged, you may have to puff very firmly to break the clog. When that happens, you'll hear a “pop,” and the device should begin working normally. If your disposable vape isn't clogged – but it does work when you puff more firmly – the airflow sensor in your device probably doesn't work quite right.

Make sure that the device is charged and that the pod isn't empty. Remove the pod and check for a leak. If you find vape juice under the pod, dry it completely. If the device still isn't working – or the pod hasn't leaked – try a new pod or replace the coil.
