Sidney"Sid"RayEudy
of Marion, AR
December16,1960-August26,2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sidney Ray Eudy, who was born on December 16th, 1960, in Moses Lake, Washington. He passed from this Earth on August 26th peacefully at home after a long, private and courageous battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and chronic heart issues.
Sid was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, and mentor. He was known for his kindness, humor, generosity and living his life on his own terms. Although he traveled the world wrestling, his heart was always back home in Arkansas. He was especially proud of his three grandchildren: Raylan Eudy, Charlotte Eudy, and Frankie Eudy, who brought immense joy to their Popper's life.
Sid is survived by his wife, Sabrina; his two sons, Frank Eudy (Ashten) of Naples, FL, and Gunnar Eudy (Kelli) of Marion, AR; his mother, Mary Jo Howard; his sisters, Bobbie Eudy and Margo Eudy; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Eudy, his sister, Christy Hooten, and his Aunt, Joyce Goode. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In honor of Sid's life and legacy, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research foundation or a heart health charity of your choice.
Rest in peace, Sid. Your battle is over, but your legacy will endure forever.

I got work with Sid and be friends for over 30 years. When I owned a movie theater, we spoke almost every day and his curiosity about how the business worked led him to ask me so many questions that I believe that he could have run a small theater like man.
He introduced me to sushi, went 4-4 with four homeruns the only time we played softball together, and discussed every aspect of what it was like to stomp the terra. He'll never be duplicated.

I want to thank you. Thank you for years of entertainment. You were always my favorite since I first saw you in the WWF.
You are my all time favorite wrestler and the only person I've ever paid to meet and get a pic and an autograph. I met you in Canfield Ohio earlier this year... I'm SO happy you were able to reschedule and make it to town after you couldn't make it the first time.
You were and are The Master and The Ruler....of the world.
Thank you and want to thank you and your family and send my condolences to them. I'm so happy you were able to be with them when you passed.
Fist bump Sid.
Thank you.

Became a big fan of his around 1988 or 89. Met him in Augusta, ga back in 1988 or somewhere around there. I watched him walk out the civic center after the event and followed him to his car. I was just looking for him noticing me, I think, but I told him I saw him on family feud that wasnt that long ago from when I met him. His eyes kind of lit up that sparked a small conversation to a 12 or 13 year old kid. As I was in awe that I was talking to him, I just couldnt figure out how intense and the real gigantic mean guy in the building was totally opposite ouside. Couldn't have been nicer. That small 5 minute talk is a memory I will never forget. Little did I know a few years later, he would get that he would get that singles push, and I felt I was his fan before most. Super nice guy, and certainly one of my favorites of all time. He brought so much to the wrestling world, I do know that. As a fan, I'm gonna miss Big Sid Vicious. My condolences to all his family and friends.

Rest in Paradise, Sid
You were usually a heel in wrestling, but outside the ring - you were a gentle, loving soul. A devout family man, you always had everyone in your heart. Being accessible to your fans, it was amazing to see you talking with people. Your love of softball brought you even more friends, and I can only imagine it was quite a sight - seeing you coming to the plate. That ball knew it was going to get a whooping.
You maximized your time on this Earth, and many others are better people because of you. Rest in Paradise always, Sid. Much love to you and your family. Bless your precious soul

I watched Sid wrestle for years growing up in the '90s. I was fortunate enough to see him win the world championship in-person at Madison Square Garden in 1996. The fans were so loud in support of him, especially when he won at the end of the night. Though I didn't get the chance to meet him personally, I always enjoyed watching him on television. He was very entertaining, and he had a lot of personality. Thanks for all the great memories! Condolences to all of his family and friends.

I've been a fan of wrestling for over 20 years and I am always heartbroken about all the wrestlers I grew up watching as a kid and being a famous and successful in ring performer from the state of Arkansas, it makes me more proud to be a Arkansan. Sid you are the man. Thank you for the memories and thank you for the sacrifices you made in order for you to perform for the sport of professional wrestling. We love you we miss you and you and your family will be forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace and we will see you again.

Sid use to come over and hangout at my Moms next door neighbor (The Greenes) His best friend and wrestling buddy, Byron Greene was a dear friend of mine. He was always so nice to us. One time he gave my Mom an autograph for a kid that was a HUGE wrestling fan. After Byron passed, he continued to make visits to the family. He would always wave and say hello. I would see him from time to time around town and he always spoke. I know he is upstairs with many people that he loved and missed. RIP Sid
