Hello my iPhone 13 Pro Max suddenly turn into green screen when i replayed instagram DM. My iPhone still on but I can’t use my iPhone because the screen green. Do you know what happen? And how to fix it?

Yes,Apple is replacing the screen for Green Screen issue free of cost with or without warranty if only your device internal condition is free from any accidental damages.I had 13 pro max and the screen is replaced free of cost in without warranty.

If the green screen is manufactured failure then apple should give compensation to those who are facing such problem.. (13 pro user)...its so much expensive to repair or to change display.. So Apple company, if your are viewing these replies then compensate to those user who are facing green screen problems and can't afford to repair.. Or make a fix in next update..

Apple replaced my screen for free. They are replacing screens for the green screen issue even if the device is out of warranty. Am happy !!!!!!!!!!!

I also have just had the same issue: sudden green screen (full). This is not user fault and apple should give compensation to those who are facing such problem for 13 pro users like me.

It’s really sad that this issue mostly affects 13 series the most, this happened to me last year December 24 2023, of course I didn’t do anything to the phone as I use phone with care and very neat.
I was browsing with my 13 pro max when my phone suddenly glitched yellow and later turned green.
I didn’t prepare for any of this and at that time I have no money in hand I had to wait for two weeks to get my phone done. It was really frustrating as I didn’t have another phone to browse with, I was bored and ****** as ****.
Again is so sad that we have to buy a phone of that amount and the phone couldn’t even last 2 years.
Apple this is very sad, I just don’t know why y’all put bug and stuff in updates and when we update, our screen goes colored 🤦🏽♂️ its not by force to buy a 14 PM or 15 PM because I feel good using my 13 PM. Apple please stop damaging our screen money is not easy here in Africa! I know you can do better Apple.!

I faced similar issue and on visiting apple they asked me to replace the display in 30000 INR while its a manufacturer error.
Apple please consider this green screen issue to be one of your service program since the screen replacement cost is so expensive.

Deeply disappointed with Apple. This is not how you should conduct business. Completely unethical and unprofessional. I have spent a huge sum of money in purchasing iphone 13 pro max in my country and without any fault of mine the display got ruined because of the software update. Please provide free replacement as the display cost is also huge

I just received the diagnostic result from the authorized service center for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. No found signs of liquid spillage or physical damage. It just showed that I have a faulty lcd that went out on its own after 15 months of regular, non-heavy gaming usage when they tested using another lcd. If this is not a concern for Apple that their hardware won't even last a year and a half, it will most likely be my last Apple product.
Total cost of repair: 457.91USD
Brand new 13 Pro Max 256GB: 1382.74USD
Lasted for: 15 months

Just submit, it to the official Apple center and tell them that, this happened all of a sudden after a particular update, they will send the device to the main Apple center, but they will charge 2.5INR amount for a device that's not refundable.
Eventually, my device came in after 5 days with a replaced display, unfortunately, your data won't be backed please backup your device from iTunes if you can.

I also have the same issue. Paid for a diagnostic at the Apple service center, no physical damage at all. They are still asking me to pay about 500 US dollars for screen replacement. My phone is 1 year and 1 month old. This issue is so common, I'm very surprised that they don't have the "service program" for this.

My friend got this repaired at 15k and not replaced.
I researched thru YouTube and Google to know what they could have repaired in it and realised it is unfair for Apple to charge INR 30k + and proposing screen replacement and on the 3p service too for charging 15k to fix a jumper from x node to y node under the screen
Unsure why would someone charge so high for this small fix
If this was a business tactic to force people to buy new phones/screens then kudos to Apple for mastering it

Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. You aren't addressing Apple here. This is a user to user only forum. I wouldn't hold your breath expecting compensation from Apple, if I were you.

I got bunch of informations that green screen problem on 13 series is suddenly happened especially when they have updated to ios 16. Apple please consider this green screen issue to be one of your service program since the screen replacement cost is so expensive.

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
Force restart iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
If that doesn't fix it -
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.
